Spokane Employment/Unemployment Situation

If it seems like there are few jobs in Spokane, it might be because there are few jobs in Spokane. Spokane’s 2010 employment is almost the same as the year 2000. An entire decade of job growth has been lost. Almost 10% of the jobs at the peak in 2007 have disappeared. (Note: These totals do not include armed forces, self employed and sole proprietors.)
