Spokane Commercial Real Estate Vacancy Rates

Commercial real estate vacancy rates in Spokane go nuts in the first week of December, with vacancy increases in all categories. The large drop in the industrial space two weeks ago is unexplained.

As always, each firm’s estimate of vacancies is calculated in their own way and estimates vary between firms.

There seem to have be inflection rates right around Nov 1 and then again around Dec 1. I suppose that makes sense as leases are likely written on a monthly or longer basis. If that is true, what might we see around Jan 1st or early in 2011?
